Morning and Evening Adhkar: Daily Wird Guide
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) regularly recited specific adhkar in the morning and evening. These are called "azkar" or "wird." A daily wird program is the Muslim's spiritual armor.
Morning adhkar are recited after the Fajr prayer until sunrise. Evening adhkar are recited after the Asr prayer until sunset. Here are the essential morning and evening adhkar:
Ayat al-Kursi (Al-Baqarah, 255): Recited once in the morning and once in the evening. The Prophet said, "Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi in the morning and evening, Allah will protect them from all evil."
Surahs Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas: Recited three times each in the morning and evening. These surahs are prayers for protection from harm.
Tasbih adhkar: 33 Subhanallah, 33 Alhamdulillah, 33 Allahu Akbar, and once "La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ala kulli shay'in qadir."
Salawat: "Allahumma salli ala Muhammad wa ala ali Muhammad" at least 10 times.
Istighfar: "Astaghfirullah" at least 100 times. The Prophet reported making istighfar more than 70 times a day.
Performing these adhkar regularly increases the blessings of the day, protects from evil, and strengthens spiritually. With Ihlas Ring Pro, you can count and track these adhkar, completing them without missing any.
